چکیده
Utilizing oxo-degradable additives is an alternate, efficient method of managing plastic trash. To prepare the polymer chain for microorganisms to break down fragments over time, oxo-degradation plastics involves breaking into small pieces. In this study, a film with thickness 35 µm created by mixing mixture linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and d2w grade master batch (pro-oxidant). This falls within range specifications films manufactured in petrochemical businesses. Additionally, study investigates how mechanical characteristics are affected addition pro-oxidant additive at five different weight percentages (0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3% w/w). After thermal processing oven one seven days, progress LLDPE monitored FTIR analysis check presence carbonyl group assessing properties film. Tensile strength break, tensile yield, elongation yield qualities that measured. Both machine direction (MD) transverse (TD) used measure all properties. Following days exposure 70 °C, deteriorated. directions (MD TD), dropped 46.62% 31.8%, respectively. 22% 36.36%, TD) were reduced 21% 38.36%, after thermo-oxidative treatment °C 7 results measurement did not significantly alter.

Growing concerns regarding the impact of the accumulation of plastic waste over several decades on the environmental have led to the development of biodegradable plastic. These plastics can be degraded by microorganisms and absorbed by the environment and are therefore gaining public support as a possible alternative to petroleum-derived plastics. Among the developed biodegradable plastics, oxo...
متن کاملDegradable polyethylene nanocomposites with silica, silicate and thermally reduced graphene using oxo-degradable pro-oxidant
Polyethylene nanocomposites with silica, alumino-silicate and thermally reduced graphene were generated by adding pro-oxidant additive. Additive resulted in early degradation of pure polymer, however, the degradation was delayed in the presence of fillers. Graphene resulted in maximum extent of enhancement of peak degradation temperature (13-14 °C depending on the additive content) followed by ...

Plastic waste constitutes the third largest waste volume in Malaysian municipal solid waste (MSW), next to putrescible waste and paper. The plastic component in MSW from Kuala Lumpur averages 24% (by weight), whereas the national mean is about 15%. The 144 waste dumps in the country receive about 95% of the MSW, including plastic waste. The useful life of the landfills is fast diminishing as th...
